The short answer is that GPU computing saves you time and money.
Modern graphics cards have hundreds of parallel processors that can be leveraged simultaneously. When you’re trying to recover a password, GPU computing boosts speeds and saves time. Even the cheapest graphics card has several hundred cores that will deliver results much faster than a top-of-the-line CPU.
