➕ Significant performance boost on Intel Arc:
Deep optimization work has been carried out for Intel Arc A and B series GPUs. Several algorithms now show noticeable password recovery speed improvements:
✅ up to +5% for RAR archives
✅ up to +10% for WinZip, Microsoft Office 2007–2010, and WPA/WPA2
✅ up to +25% for Microsoft Office 2013–2021–365
✅ +15% and higher for TrueCrypt volumes
➕ Optimized multi-GPU performance on Intel Arc:
Improved coordination of multiple Intel Arc GPUs within a single Windows system ensures stable performance scaling when loading all available GPUs in parallel.
➕ Support for new AMD RDNA 4 GPUs:
Password recovery is now fully supported on AMD’s 2025 Radeon RX 9000 series based on the Navi 48 architecture.
➕ TrueCrypt/Whirlpool acceleration across all GPU brands:
Additional optimizations delivered speed gains:
✅ up to +13% on NVIDIA GPUs
✅ up to +10% on AMD GPUs
✅ up to +40% on Intel Arc GPUs
Diving Deep into Intel Arc Architecture
In the Passcovery 25.04 release, we significantly enhanced password recovery performance on Intel Arc GPUs (A and B series).
To achieve this, we conducted an in-depth review of how the OpenCL compiler interacts with Intel drivers, thoroughly analyzed
their behavior, identified bottlenecks, and implemented workarounds to boost both the stability and speed of our solutions.
Special attention was given to Intel’s BFN (Bitwise Function) instruction — a command that executes custom logical operations
on three operands with a single instruction, typically in one clock cycle. Our research and optimization workarounds around this feature
have resulted in faster and more reliable performance on these GPUs.
The result for users: significant password recovery speed improvements across all supported formats in Passcovery products running on Intel Arc GPUs.
We also improved multi-GPU scaling on systems with multiple Intel Arc cards, enabling even more efficient use of all available GPUs
to accelerate password recovery tasks.
With the release of Passcovery 25.04, Intel Arc GPUs are becoming one of the best options for password recovery based on their
"passwords per second per dollar" performance. Compare the results in our

Expanding AMD GPU Support: Now with RDNA 4
In the Passcovery 25.04 release, we added password recovery acceleration for the latest AMD GPUs based on the RDNA 4 architecture.
Passcovery solutions now fully leverage the power of AMD’s 2025 lineup — the Radeon RX 9000 Series — delivering high-speed password recovery on the latest hardware.
Passcovery 25.04 makes AMD's RDNA 4 GPUs an excellent choice for "Team Red" fans looking to maximize performance in password recovery tasks.
GPU Acceleration for TrueCrypt
In Passcovery Suite 25.04, we revisited and optimized the algorithms for the good old TrueCrypt.
TrueCrypt encryption uses computation-heavy schemes based on thousands of hash function iterations, making password recovery highly demanding.
Thanks to hash-level optimizations, we achieved significant speed improvements across all three GPU vendors:
up to +8% for TrueCrypt with RIPEMD-160 on Intel Arc (A and B series)
up to +15% for TrueCrypt with SHA-512 on Intel Arc (A and B series)
up to +40% for TrueCrypt with Whirlpool on Intel Arc (A and B series)
up to +13% for TrueCrypt with Whirlpool on NVIDIA (Blackwell architecture)
up to +10% for TrueCrypt with Whirlpool on AMD (RDNA 1 and RDNA 2 architectures)
Optimizing hash chain computations is critical for TrueCrypt, where verifying a single password attempt requires thousands of calculation cycles.
With Passcovery Suite 25.04, password recovery is now even faster and more efficient, especially on the latest GPUs.
Supported Formats in Passcovery Solutions

“Thank you, thank you, thank you. I stupidly password protected a document without keeping a copy that wasn't protected and no one in the family could remember the password. Passcovery broke the password for me - this document represented endless hours of work by my daughter in law and me. Thank you so much.”
